Featured Speaker

Tara Olson, PA

Tara has been a physician assistant since 2002 and has worked in many areas of medicine, including plastic/hand/cosmetic surgery, emergency medicine, primary care, and interventional radiology. She loves medicine because it enables her to interact with people on a very personal level. She completed professional school at Augsburg College in 2001 and earned a certification from NCCPA, the National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Plastic and hand surgery is an interesting and challenging specialty because it involves so many aspects of the body with a variety of complex issues. She is grateful to be able to collaborate with such a great team of surgeons and staff. She particularly enjoys working with breast cancer patients, trying to make their journey as pleasant as possible. She has also developed a special interest in cosmetic procedures including BOTOX®, fillers, and laser treatments.

While not at work she enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, friends, and family. She also enjoys dancing, playing golf, and travel.
